Q: Does it hurt?
A: There is minimal to no discomfort during the treatment. After treatment there can be a mild windburn-like feeling for 2-72 hours.
Q: Can it cause scarring?
A: No. It can improve the appearance of scars.
Q: What’s in the Stem Cell Serum?
A: Hyaluronic acid and a combination of purified proteins designed to amplify rejuvenation. There are no human or animal cells, DNA, blood or other foreign substances. The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade. Adult Human stem cells are derived from screened healthy athletes from Universities (average age 22). Stem cells are used to culture the cytokines and growth factors used in the serum just as they would in your body were you a healthy young athlete. Since most of us aren’t, this allows us to benefit from their healthy young stem cells.
Q: What will this improve the appearance of?

Q: How long is the downtime?
A: You can apply make-up, sunblock, and other topical products after about 90 minutes. MicroChanneling does not produce the scabbing and peeling generally associated with other skin rejuvenation methods.

A: Anything from a minor blush, to a deep flush, which clears up in 2 to 72 hours, depending on how aggressive the treatment is.
Q: How long before I can expect to see results?
A: You will typically notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen-filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity, and deeper wrinkles. For hair regrowth, some reactivation typically appears within the first two weeks, with noticeable improvement after about 5 weeks.
Q: Are there any contraindications?
A: any condition that seriously impairs your immune system, active radiation or chemotherapy, pregnant or nursing, uncontrolled diabetes, allergy to stainless steel, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past year, hemophilia, or similar bleeding disorders.
Q: Do I have to use the MicroChanneling solution/aftercare serums?
A: MicroChanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines, and growth factors that induce collagen production. As you get older, the stem cells that produce these vital proteins lose efficacy and decline in population, so MicroChanneling alone becomes less and less effective. Q: How many treatments should I have, and how often?
A: The recommended number of treatments and frequency will vary depending on the condition of your skin. In general, 3-6 initial treatments are recommended approximately 1 month apart. After desired results are achieved, maintenance is typically every other month for 2-3 treatments, then annual maintenance once or twice a year. More treatments will be required the deeper the wrinkles, greater the acne scarring, more lax the skin, greater the sun damage, etc. Younger, healthier skin can be maintained with fewer less frequent treatments by starting earlier in life.
