Soft Shaded Liner

Timeless Allure offers Soft Shaded Liner in Grand Junction, CO, and surrounding areas. If you are looking for a heavier makeup look, soft shaded eyeliner is classic eyeliner with shading that extends up onto the eyelid itself for a soft ombre eye shadow effect.

The lash line is filled with the darkest pigment. That dark pigment is extended up onto the eyelid giving the classic liner look with a wing to lift the corner of the eye. Then the pigment is extended even further up onto the eyelid gradually lightening to give the eye shadow effect.

Is Soft Shaded Liner Right for Me?

Again, Soft Shaded Liner is not for everyone. If there is a significant droop at the corner of the eye or heavy eyelid folds, a wing would make the eyes look droopier. It is also important to consider the aging process.

As the skin relaxes at the corner of the eyes as well as the upper lid droop, the line of the wing will fall.  Firm tight skin is necessary to hold the line of the wing. Significant wrinkles will also “break” the line of the wing as we age. This is not to discourage, but to remind us that the face is a moving canvas, and that movement is with expression as well as with the movement of time.
